I don’t know about you, but with the holidays coming up, my brain feels with a sense of dread when I think about mailing packages. The shopping for packages is easy and can be fun, but when it comes to the mailing of packages, I get shipping anxiety. If you are wondering why, then you have never stood in line at the post office trying to send a box out.

This is why I started using other shipping services. I liked the reliability that I could get with DHL and FedEx for my international shipments. They have a more reliable tracking service and will pick up the boxes from my house. Yes, the postal service can pick up too, but this does not work if you live too far from where mail was delivered. And, to be frank, FedEx and DHL deliver at a much faster rate.

One downside to using a private service is the cost. While the service is better, you have to pay for that service or face the line where time ceases to exist at the post office. But my friends, I have found something to ease my woes. There are websites that can help reduce the shipping rates but still give you the reliability that comes with FedEx.

Having struggled for so many years with getting my holiday boxes sent out to my overseas family, I have a solution. The website I have been using is Shipbrain.com. I have calculated my savings over time with them and found that I have been saving 55% off of my international shipping costs since I started using them. For me, this means that I am still taking advantage of reliable shipping but not having to pay the premium price.

Sites like Shipbrain.com automatically take the package information you provide, such as the weight and size of the box, and plug it into the shipping companies for you. Then they give you a list of all the companies who can mail the box for you and the best rates. I also will know what the expected transit time is for my packages, in case I need something sent a little faster. Which is good for me, as I have a terrible tendency to wait until the very last minute to mail something then miss the shipment window, making my Christmas gifts routinely late. If I know how fast something can be shipped from the comfortable chair I have by my computer, I will know my package will arrive on time.

It doesn’t matter if you’re shipping a box to the next town over or around the world, you want to get it done quickly, easily, and at the lowest possible rate. I am so happy I don’t have to worry about it anymore. I am so glad I found Shipbrain.com. Now I can have fun shopping without all the dread of mailing it all later. If you have boxes to send out internationally, I cannot suggest hard enough to look into a website that can break down the prices and shipping speed for you.
